Hi. I currently have a part time contract which allows me to work 24 hours per week. I am paid 4% vacation on every paycheque. I am planning in taking 2 weeks vacation in August which will be unpaid since I am getting 4% pay in my paycheque. My supervisor is asking me to work 37.5 hours per week for the next 2 weeks even though my contract says up to 24 hours. He asked me to claim only 24 hours per week for these two weeks, and then claim the rest of the hours (13.5*2=27 hours) when I go on vacation for 2 weeks. Has anyone claimed they worked even though they were on vacation? If someone from HR finds out that I am working over the 24 hours per week, is there a chance I will get terminated?
