Job offer from small company

Hello everyone,

I have a job offer from a small company, but I'm not too sure how to proceed from here.
Currently working for a very big company (F20), and I'm kind of scared of job stability and legitimacy of the company if I take on the role.
Is there any way to research extensively about the company to make sure I'm making the right choice? I've tried googling the company/CEO but couldn't find much detail.
