I spent my summers working menial blue-collar jobs. Cleaning, back of the house restaurant positions, etc.
How are white-collar companies gonna take me seriously?
I don't even have any skills or accomplishments from those jobs that I could list on my resume. What would I put? I mopped the floor in record time? I cooked some fries and didn't screw it up? The only things I could think of are the generic "showed up/wasn't late/did what was instructed" that every job requires.
Without connections, how do you make yourself and your resume stand out in a situation like this?
