I think personality plays a huge part of academic and career success. I have consistently been diagnosed as a INTJ and my school program is Economics, which is on the recommended list. Tbh I have a easy time studying and understanding Econ, math, and stats courses at school. On the other hand, arguments made and approaches taken by fields such as geography, poli sci, and sociology make no sense to me whatsoever. I need system, order, closure, clarity, and linearity in my personal and social life. I have high standards for myself in terms of performance and efficiency, and I cannot tolerate others' incompetence in areas that I deem to be important. I think this test can accurately, to some degree, predict the types of careers that one may succeed in. The test also did a good job listing out my strengths and weaknesses, most of which I already knew. Have you done the test before? Does the diagnosis sound like you? Do you see yourself pursuing a career similar to the diagnostic recommendations?
