I was selected out of a pool for a interview with the hiring manager. I think it went well and I have been thinking about if I'll accept or not. I'm doing pretty well in my current job and I know starting over they'll offer me 3 weeks vacation and the bottom of the salary scale. One of my friends told me he started at a higher pay level and I've seen others say they worked that out here so I think that is possible. I'm wondering though if I can ask for 4 weeks vacation as that's what I currently have and it would suck to have to reset and wait 8 years for that again, I am in the private sector now. Also how often do these things pan out after getting the second interview? I just want to be prepared should the offer come. thanks!
