Teaching in Alberta?

I am currently looking for a new teaching position and am considering teaching in Alberta. (I am a certified teacher and have my Alberta Interim Teacher Certificate) Does anyone have any experiences teaching in that province? Is it worth teaching in places like Fort Mac considering the rent is so high? Am I better off searching for a job in southern or central Alberta? Any insights on this topic would be appreciated.
