Employment Agency required me to provide my own Credit Check

I found this kind of odd that they required me to provide my own credit report. I'm a bit hesitant to send this to them but they seem like a reputable agency. Has anyone else here required to provide their own credit report (mine was from Equifax) to a job agency?
