any Geologists here?

Hey, just wondering if there are any Geologists here or maybe recent Geo grads. I'm thinking about going back to school to get a Geo degree and I'm wondering what it's like and what the prospects are after graduating. Would I be guaranteed a well paying gig if I'm a top student?
