I work on a yearly salary, with my contract stating an "average of 40 hours per week".
If I work one week at 39 hours, and one at 41-- I get docked the equivalent of an hour's pay. (Note: if I worked 40 and 41, I don't get an extra hour pay)
Is this even legal in Ontario? Am I missing some definition of the term "yearly salary" to mean "(my salary / number of work hours per year) * hours worked"?
