Hello everyone,
I am a current undergrad student in Ontario. Now I have looked up the information in terms of the requirements for each designation in the field of accounting.
My main question is in terms of grades.
- CA requires you to have 70% average in the 51-credit requirement. The question is, can you still get into this program if you did not have 70% average in the recommended courses and be eligible for the CA exams?
- CMA requires you to have a minimum of 60% average in each course. What if you have 60% average or more as an average for the required courses(so not in each course). I mean, what if you have: d+, c+. b+ and so on for each course? Would you still be eligible for this?
I was wondering if any present CA,CMA or experienced members of this community would help me with this question..
Oh, and what about the collaboration: the CA, CMA merger. Would these rules still stay the same in terms of grade requirements after the merger?
Thanks
