Hey,
So I graduated from university with a journalism & communications degree a little over two years ago, and have been working ever since in the social media/community relation field, but have wanting to learn more specifically/directly about PR. Because of this, I have been looking into certification programs such as uoft's publicity and public relations certificate.
I'm concerned about the credibility of certification programs though. Will future employers even care if I get this certification? Are "non-professional" certifications even worth it, or am I just better off getting practical experience on my own somehow (volunteer/online learning)? If they are useful, what are some of the better schools to look at for evening courses aside from uoft?
Thanks!
