I am currently studying Accounting diploma at the British Columbia Institute of Technology and I am trying to find an intern/co-op job in the summer months to gain industry experience. The job market in Vancouver is not so good right now and there are not a lot of opportunities for new grads. I already have a university degree under my belt (unrelated degree) and am planning to pursue a CGA designation after I graduate from BCIT. My question is are there any tips or advice for finding a co-op or intern job in Vancouver? What are you experiences in looking for internship jobs and what are some things that I should watch out for. Thanks.
