Like, say, a typical factory/warehouse job? How volatile are jobs in the industry? Also, is it unrealistic in this day and age to expect to be working for the same company for 30-40 years even if you perfectly content earning what you started out with?
I'd like some input from people who have first or second hand experience in this field. I spent most of the summer working general labour and while I didn't particularly think it was the best job, it was still rather tolerable and even somewhat enjoyable.
