And had salaried desk bound employees
Would it be crazy to consider giving them a 30 hour workweek vs. 40 for the same pay? I feel 8 hours at a desk is almost worthless burnout time anyways and I have a suspicion employees would be happier and more productive. Imagine working 10-4 everyday skipping traffic, sleeping in later, getting home earlier and just having a 6 hour burst of work each day. Just because it was easier for factories to schedule 3x 8 hour shifts doesn't mean humans were meant to work that way.
