So I just quit my job... do i tell recruiters that I still work there?

So I decided to quit my job and it was my last day yesterday. I didn't send out CV's for new positions yet because I just want to enjoy a few weeks of summer. Now if I start applying now, can I tell them that I still work for my old job at the moment? Is there any way they can find out? I don't want them to think I was fired because most people find a new job first before quitting. I saved up some money so I didn't mind...
