The Support Analyst will assist employees with accessing and using the technology within Glentel. This individual will report to the Support Team Lead.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES
Include, but not limited to the following tasks:
Becoming an Expert on the primary operational systems
Testing applications / technology
Understanding the business
Assist with aligning the systems and business processes
User Account Creation, Maintenance and Termination
Providing User Support and creating documentation as required
Liaising between Information Technology and user groups
Workload
60% - User Support
20% - Documentation & Testing
20% - Administration
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Education & Training - The incumbent should hold a diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
Minimum three plus (3+) years related technical experience
Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
French is a requirement
Ability to multi-task and exercise sound judgement to prioritize activities
Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays (shift-work)
Ability to assist users on a diverse set of issues
Knowledge of: a. Operational Systems(primarily Financial & Inventory) b. Business Transactions(primarily Financial & Inventory) c. System conversions d. Microsoft Windows e. Linux
