How to network for job-seeking new grad?

Hi everybody,

I recently graduated with BA in Economics and finance, one-year internship experience as associate consultant in market research and data analysis. With CSC (Canadian Securities Course) certificate.

Looking for a job right now. I wanna ask what are some good ways to build your network which prepares you to enter a professional field? Any specific ways (groups/associations to join, volunteer activities, etc.) recommended? Thanks very much!!
