Hi all,
I'm a recent grad working with a big fortune 100 company in the GTA. The pay is very entry level (35k with good benefits) and the work is way below my skill set but there is obviously opportunity for growth (albeit slow).
Now I have a buddy in Alberta doing manual labor who has offered me a vacant position. The pay would be 75k a year, basically double. and my living expenses wouldn't change because I could crash with him. I have no intent on staying in Alberta, but the quick cash would help me pay off student loans quicker as well as save up some money for a down payment on a house.
I'm not sure if I should leave the office job to get my financial situation in order... tough choice
