I recently had an interview for an entry level buyer position and the recruiter needs my salary expectation. I'm going to graduate from engineering this May and have one year of co-op experience that paid $20/hour. I've looked on glassdoor/payscale/indeed but I can't find much. I'm hoping to get more opinion here. It's a 1-3 year contract job (no benefits) with frequent travel to remote sites. The company is a foreign multinational engineering company but not much presence in Canada. I'm thinking in the range of $25-30/hour. Is it reasonable? Also, are salary expectations usually mentioned in /hr or /year basis? TIA!
