Can an employer ask an employee to pay back the money spent on benefits coverage if the employee quits after a short time?
I have never worked at a company offering benefits before, so I am unfamiliar with how they work.
But, I was wondering. What is to stop someone from securing a job at a position offering extensive dental, vision, and extended health coverage, applying for 100% coverage, and getting expensive dental and orthodontic work done and saying "cya."
Can the employer come after the employee something if like this happens?
