So my cousin was telling me that a top ranking executive at his company came off as harassing and bullying one of the employees - possibly sexual harassment since some of the 'jokes' he used implied the employee as being gay; not sure if he is or isn't my cousin doesn't know.
I asked him did he get reported to HR> The funny thing my cousin told me was that the HR manager reports to him :D and that the only one about him is the CEO.
So in this scenario, would it be possible for the employee to report the executive for harassment (if he wanted to) even though this guy is like one of the top dogs and HR reports to him? Would HR be able to file a claim or whatever against their superior?
