Good morning everyone.
I am shopping for a new brokerage and would like to know if there are any that encourage flat fee listings.
Some brokerages charge a $50-100 monthly desk fee on top of the $200 minimum commission for every real estate transaction, which is better than the 60/40 split at some brokerages.
But even then, if I were to charge, say $300-500 for a no frills MLS listing, then I'd have to pay $200 to the brokerage, leaving me with very little income.
Those that charge 60/40; 70/30; 80/20 splits will likely frown upon flat fee listings, correct?
Thanks for any leads via this thread or PM.
