Going back to school part-time at 26-27 for Computer Science? How is the job outlook?

After graduating with a BA in 2009 and working for a variety of industries, I have considered going back to school. I am currently doing sales for an insurance company and I have thought about becoming a full-time insurance broker, but I am not exactly satisfied with my line of work.

I did my undergraduate 1-2 years faster than my peers because I just wanted to work. Well, now I've worked for 4 years, and I probably should have put in some thought into what I wanted to do as a career. So now, I want to get my career right this time.

This is where school comes in.

Computer Science has intrigued me. I want to develop apps, help clients' start-ups with their branding, and just more project-oriented work.

My main concern would be outsourcing, but from what I've read, it only affects simple tasks. Any clarification on this subject would be excellent.

Would learning how to program be a good career change from selling insurance products?
