Ontario Public Holiday Paid

I work on a continental shift 12 hours rotation when there is an public holiday like this coming holiday our company is only paying us 8 hours... :-0 is that the labor law?

Dec 23 = 12hr
Dec 24 = 12hr
Dec 25 = Holiday 8hr
Dec 26 = Holiday 8hr
