Someone Pm'ed me about engineering salaries being discussed here on RFD and them being underrated. So I was thinking, for all the people that say engineers are under paid (probably only mark), and all the data that shows engineer salaries, do they also include engineering technologist? Engineering technicians? Or does it only include those with a degree in engineering or higher? I somewhat have a feeling that those engineering "salary studies" are so low because engineering techs aren't included in them.
Ex: Mechanical engineering technologist, Civil engineering technologist, Electrical Engineering technologist etc...
Also from my school experience:
Engineering technician: 2 years of study (diploma)
Engineering technologist: 3 years of study (advanced diploma)
INb4 Mark
