I have a friend working in a manufacturing facility. Their holiday schedule is just out and Dec 25, 26 and Jan 1 the facility is closed. However their boss need them to work Dec 29 (Sunday) and Jan 4 (Saturday) regularly 8 hours a day. My question is how the OT wage should be calculated? (for example, the week of Dec 29-Jan 4 should have working hours of 32 hours intead of 40 hours? any hours beyond 32 hours should be paid by OT premium pay or 40 hours or 44 hours?)
