I was hired for a Senior Accountant position and when I joined the director of finance resigned at the same time. Since then I have been performing my role and his role as they are yet to find a replacement. I believe I would be doing both of these roles for in total 3 months atleast before they find someone. I think its added responsibilities and also a fair bit of important duties that I do and I should be putting it on my resume somehow.
