Hey Guys.
I have some friends who are studying English in Vancouver and has working visa and they told me they don't get paid during training session from some coffee shops in Vancouver. To make matters worse, sometimes some employers ask them to leave without pay even though they worked for a few days during training session. So those employers can get benefit by firing them without pay any time.
I am wondering how this could be possible. I know many people from different countries are looking for job but this should not happen and I don't think it is legal.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
Also wondering if city of Vancouver already know this issue.
Thanks for reading !
