Question regarding CA/CPA

Hello,

I'm a finance student that has taken many Accounting courses. Upon graduation, I would be short less than half of the necessary credits to qualify for entrance in the CPA/CA program. I just wanted to know.. what would be the chances of gaining some employment experience at this point? I would be completed my undergrad so do the CA/CPA preparatory programs help you to find some employment (as I understand there are necessary work exp hours required to complete the program)?
