I was hoping you guys could help me out with my career path. I have recently wanted to get into designing UAV's. I am currently a mechanical engineering student and my university offers a mechatronics option which I am taking. My GPA is a 4.2 (on a 4.3 scale). I was thinking when I was done I would take a masters program in Aerospace to help me get a career in UAV design. I checked with the University of Toronto and Carleton University and they both accept Mechanical Engineers into their masters programs for Aerospace.
My Question is to you think an Meng or M.A.Sc. ?
I think that the Meng might be good because I do not have an undergrad in aerospace engineering so this option would give me more courses. But also I would receive no funding.
M.A.Sc. would give me experience doing research along with great connections from my prof in my desired field. Along with funding.
Any input would be much appreciated!
