are skilled trades still looked down upon? I'm a construction plumber and i know back in the day trades were looked down upon, are they still are? every time my parents have family dinners my cousin's parents always brag about their kids who are in school for engineering/accounting.
I'm currently working on finishing up a condo downtown by the financial district were most of the tenants have moved in already. i often have encounters with the tenants and i would say "good morning, how are you" or "hello", sometimes they wouldn't even reply other times they give me weird looks.
so in today society, are trades looked down upon still? what do you guys think about tradesman?
on a side note: downtown is so screwed with all these condos going up,traffic wise IMO....:D
