Employer not paying overtime unless more than 88hrs/2wks are worked

The employer I work for doesn't pay overtime at 44hrs/wk or more. They only pay if you do more than 88hrs/2 weeks, which is pretty hard to do.

Is this legal? Is there anything that can be done about it?

I've never heard of such a thing before.
