I am aware that ICAO is moving towards the one designation - the CPA. What happens to all those who are starting this September at CA firms. Will we be the last people who are eligible to become CAs because I know that the final UFE will be written in September 2014.
Does this benefit us? I feel like we are sort of on the losing end as we are only one year away from starting to work towards the new designation. Would students prefer to start September 2014 rather than 2013 in order to work towards the CPA?
