Throughout my university career I've done a handful of presentations unrelated to school work (just research presentations at the suggestion of one of my professors). These presentations have varied from 50 people to 200 people in the audience. I've also guest lectured a couple of classes and presented. Is this something I should put on a resume or CV? Here's some examples:
Cellular Interfacing for Post-Secondary Students, June 2012
A 20-minute presentation on the viability of mobile devices as a mean for interaction between university officials and students. Focus on security issues and feasibility to implement within a limited budget.
Security and Foucauldian Panopticism in Modern Technology, March 2013
A 60-minute presentation on security issues in modern technology as well as the downsides of ubiquitous computing; large emphasis placed on power dynamics (Foucault) and its relation to computer systems and social media.
Designing User Interfaces for the Homo-Logicus User, April 2013
A 20-minute presentation outlining program interface design keyed towards specific demographics as well as developing software for homo-sapien and homo-logicus users. Emphasis placed on abiding by design principles and KLM/HTA optimization.
It's work I am proud of, but I'm not sure if it's appropriate for a resume or CV.
