What is your method in dealing with conflict / personality clash at work?

Or just co-workers that you really don't like. Mine is I keep my distance from them and limit my communication with them. Basically only talk to them when I have to, otherwise I ignore them. If I don't have to talk to them, I won't its as simple as that. When I talk to them Im still very nice and friendly but if its on my lunch or any time outside of work, forget it...I wont go out of my way to associate with them. I'll say hi and bye but nothing more than that.

I understand conflict happens and Ive had this before, sometimes two people are just very different personality wise. But what I really cant stand is a rude, cold, snarky, moody, arrogant, narcacistic fake individual. Roar give them their time and space and keep away. I know most will say to approach the person and sit down one and one and address it. Yes I would, but not with this one cause I already know forsure that it wont do anything for me. We're just two very different people and our personalities clash. I've known people just like her in the past and kept my distance cause theyre so close minded and self-absorbed that they wont even sniff at what anyone has to say.

Im so thankful for having such a great asset in me in always being able to stay calm and remain a cool cucumber. While others can get snarky and have their temper tantrum throughout the day, Im still my calm unaffected self.
