I am currently in my fourth year of university studying pharmacology (UofT). Usually I volunteer at different places and I did a research project and since I had a scholarship over four years worth $14,000 so I didn't really need a summer job. However, this year my grades have gone south so I decided to do a fifth year of undergrad to boost my GPA back up to par and hopefully become competitive again for medicine or maybe grad.
My biggest weakness is probably my lack of paid experience. I have applied for over 10 jobs+ a research internship and usually they just ignore me. So, I decided to start off small and sent in my resume to the CNE for three different positions over the weekend.
Has anyone here ever applied for a CNE job? How long does it take for them to reply back if you got an interview? I know it's still early (May) but I would love to make $1000-$2000 at least this summer so that the OSAP doesn't kill me next year.
