I just recently qualified as a CA. I'm thinking of going out to industry to an internal audit role as opposed to a financial reporting role. I've heard that internal audit is somewhat of a dead end career with limited growth opportunities... Does anyone know more about this? And is there possibilities to switch from internal audit to a more operations role down the road?
